Accuracy and verification
We seek primary evidence wherever possible: project announcements, regulatory notices, public filings, blockchain transactions, contract data and on-the-record statements. We assess secondary reporting and social posts in context, and do not treat a viral post, screenshot or anonymous claim as established fact on its own.
For material claims, editors look for corroboration, check dates and amounts, and distinguish independently verified information from a source’s assertion. When we cannot verify a claim, we say so or leave it out.
Sources and attribution
We identify sources and link to original material when it is useful and safe to do so. We may protect a source’s identity when there is a clear public-interest reason, but we do not present anonymous sourcing as independently confirmed evidence. We do not pay sources for information.
News, analysis and opinion
News reports focus on verifiable events. Analysis explains evidence and its possible significance; opinion expresses a clearly identified viewpoint. Headlines and summaries should reflect the story and must not imply certainty the reporting does not support.
Market data and on-chain claims
Prices, percentage moves, liquidity and sentiment readings are time-sensitive and may vary by venue, pair, methodology or provider. We label the source and relevant time period when practicable. Wallet labels and estimates are not treated as proof of identity. A price change is not a recommendation.
Conflicts and sponsored material
Editors and contributors should disclose relevant financial, professional or personal interests that could reasonably affect coverage. MemeBlock does not accept payment in exchange for favorable editorial coverage. Any sponsored or otherwise commercial material must be clearly identified as such and kept distinct from independent reporting.
AI and editorial responsibility
Tools may assist research, transcription, editing or production. They do not replace human verification or editorial judgment. A responsible editor reviews published work, checks material facts and remains accountable for the final article. We do not knowingly publish fabricated quotes, sources or evidence generated by a tool.
Updates and accountability
When a story changes materially, we update it and explain significant corrections in the article. Readers can report a concern at enquiry@memeblock.com. Our corrections policy describes what happens next.
