SCHIFFY Memecoin Review: Gold Pairing and Risks

SCHIFFY is a Robinhood Chain memecoin paired with tokenized GLD. It uses a fee structure that the project says burns SCHIFFY while directing most collected GLD fees to token holders.

SCHIFFY has emerged as a newly launched memecoin on Robinhood Chain with a design that differs from conventional meme tokens. Instead of a conventional stablecoin, it pairs the asset with tokenized gold. The project’s official website says 90% of collected GLD fees are intended for holders. In addition, 100% of SCHIFFY fees are burned.

The token’s official contract is 0x42afa2124ca5a2b83898e46b2da9a190995b1e18 on Robinhood Chain. Gate’s September 18 listing notice independently identifies the same contract and blockchain. Meanwhile, Ourbit announced SCHIFFY/USDT spot trading beginning September 18.

SCHIFFY therefore has two separate elements to examine. Its on-chain fee design and its developing connection to Moku, a Web3 gaming studio, are both important.

SCHIFFY’s Gold-Paired Model

The central feature of the SCHIFFY design is its pairing with tokenized GLD.

According to the project’s website, SCHIFFY trades against tokenized GLD on Robinhood Chain. The project states that 90% of the GLD fees collected through its mechanism are distributed to holders, with the remaining 10% directed to a vault. It also says 100% of fees collected in SCHIFFY are burned.

The distinction matters because SCHIFFY does not claim that each token represents ownership of physical gold. The project’s own disclaimer says SCHIFFY does not represent ownership of gold and that holders cannot redeem assets from the treasury. It also states that distributions depend on trading volume and may be zero.

The underlying blockchain infrastructure is also relatively new. Robinhood describes its network as a permissionless, Ethereum-compatible Layer-2 focused partly on tokenized real-world assets. Its documentation identifies chain ID 4663 and ETH as the native gas asset.

Uniswap’s July 2026 announcement confirmed that v2, v3, v4 and UniswapX had gone live on Robinhood Chain. This provides a major public automated-market-maker venue on the network.

SCHIFFY Market Activity has Expanded Quickly

SCHIFFY began trading in late August, according to independent market-data records. Unhosted AI’s launch report identifies August 29, 2026, as the deployment date for the contract. It records the same Robinhood Chain address. That source should be treated as an analytics provider rather than a primary project source.

Market data now shows substantially more activity than during the token’s first trading sessions.

At approximately 05:32 UTC on September 23, 2026, GeckoTerminal’s live market page displayed SCHIFFY at $0.009668, up 42.04% over 24 hours. It reported approximately $759,370 in 24-hour volume and $839,000 in liquidity for the referenced SCHIFFY/GLD pool. The page listed 2,718 transactions during that 24-hour period.

The figure requires a qualification: cryptocurrency prices vary by pool, venue and timestamp. Other SCHIFFY pools displayed substantially different prices and liquidity levels, including smaller USDG and WETH pools.

Historical datasets also conflict. LBank’s UTC-based daily data recorded a September 22 close of $0.007776. Meanwhile, CoinGecko’s historical dataset showed a September 22 closing figure of $0.00962619. The discrepancy illustrates why SCHIFFY market data should be checked against the specific pool and timestamp before publication.

For that reason, the figures above should not be treated as a single universally applicable SCHIFFY price.

Moku Connection Adds a Separate Utility Claim

SCHIFFY’s development is also tied to Moku, a Web3 gaming studio whose official website currently presents Grand Arena, Moki Pochi and Super Battle Moki among its gaming products. Moku says it was founded in 2021. Its company profile identifies the business as a Web3 game studio and developer backed by Sky Mavis and a16z Speedrun.

Moku’s publicly circulated statements about SCHIFFY describe additional integrations. Those statements say SCHIFFY is being incorporated into the Moku gaming ecosystem. They also state a portion of revenue from future Moku titles is intended to be used to purchase SCHIFFY. Moku has also described a dedicated SCHIFFY game in development.

There is an important distinction between those statements and the current SCHIFFY website.

The SCHIFFY website says there is no roadmap. However, Moku’s public communications describe planned games, ecosystem integration and future token purchases.

That is not necessarily evidence of a contradiction in the underlying project. However, the two descriptions should not be merged into a single confirmed roadmap without clarification from the project. Future integrations and buybacks remain implementation-dependent until they can be independently verified.

Moku’s existing gaming infrastructure does provide evidence that the broader organization operates actual gaming products. Its Moki Direct site, for example, currently identifies SCHIFFY as a playable character alongside Moki content.

Supply, Liquidity and Identity Risks Remain

One of the clearest issues for SCHIFFY is token identification.

The official project links page identifies the contract as 0x42afa2124ca5a2b83898e46b2da9a190995b1e18. However, independent analytics have identified other tokens using the SCHIFFY name or ticker on different networks. Buyers therefore need to distinguish the official Robinhood Chain contract from similarly named assets.

Liquidity is another consideration. GeckoTerminal’s main SCHIFFY/GLD pool showed roughly $839,000 in liquidity when its current page was retrieved. However, smaller pools have far less depth. That means the quoted price can differ materially between markets, particularly for larger trades.

The project’s own disclaimer also limits what can be inferred from the gold mechanism. SCHIFFY does not provide direct ownership of gold, and holder distributions depend on trading activity. A theoretical fee-sharing structure therefore does not guarantee that meaningful distributions will occur.

The token also carries no conventional roadmap on its official site, making independently verifiable execution of the Moku-related plans particularly important.

What Readers Should Monitor Next

The most useful indicators for evaluating SCHIFFY are operational rather than promotional.

First, observers can track whether the 90% GLD distribution mechanism is actually executing on-chain. They can also check whether the project’s vault accumulates the stated 10% share of collected GLD fees.

Second, future Moku integrations can be checked against live products rather than announcements. The development of a dedicated SCHIFFY game, deployment inside additional Moku titles and any documented token purchases would provide independently observable milestones.

Third, market participants should monitor liquidity across the principal SCHIFFY/GLD pools rather than relying on a single price feed. The divergence among current market-data providers already demonstrates that venue selection matters.

Finally, the official SCHIFFY contract should remain the reference point for any on-chain investigation. Robinhood Chain’s official documentation confirms the network’s chain ID as 4663. Gate independently lists the same SCHIFFY contract on Robinhood Chain.

SCHIFFY therefore represents a relatively new memecoin experiment built around a gold-denominated trading pair, an automated fee mechanism and an emerging gaming narrative. The underlying mechanics can be examined on-chain. However, the project’s future utility claims remain dependent on continued execution and should be separated from what is already operational.
